Tomorrow we are scheduled to complete Module 4 of our PD SELF "journey". It is a particularly informative session as we have guest speaker Dolly Niles the Executive Director of Quest Research presenting information on current and near-term drug therapies, as well as the clinical trial process. There, however, is one potential problem (and it is a 4-letter word): SNOW
As I write this note, we are under a Winter Storm Watch, with the potential of heavy snow beginning early Wednesday afternoon. Knowing that the Weather Service is notorious for its inaccuracy, we don't want to postpone our session unnecessarily. At the same time, we don't want to put people in the position of driving in a snowstorm, especially close to rush hour (nobody likes a 2-hour commute). So here is what we are going to do:
WE WILL MAKE A DECISION BY 10:00 AM, AND INFORM YOU OF GO/NO GO AT THAT TIME. WE WILL SEND AN EMAIL, AND UPDATE THE BLOG AT 10:00 AM, SO PLEASE CHECK ONE OR THE OTHER BEFORE DRIVING TO OUR SESSION.
