The Detroit chapter of the Parkinson Disease Self Efficacy Learning Forum or PD SELF begins it's first of 9 sessions on Wednesday September 13, 2017. The program, developed by Diane Cook and the Parkinson Disease Foundation, is sponsored locally by the Michigan Parkinson Foundation and the Quest Research Institute. It provides newly diagnosed PD Patients and their care partners the information and tools they need to more confidently face an uncertain future. The group meets at a conference room in the same building as the Michigan Parkinson Foundation office (30400 Telegraph Rd., Bingham Farms MI 48025) from Noon - 3:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
